Yogalaties is A perfect fusion (flow) of yoga and mat Pilates.  Think core strength plus flexibility. The class will include classic Pilates moves and well as basic yoga poses.

Pilates/Barre

This hybrid workout is on the cutting edge of fitness classes.  This workout includes all the benefits of Pilates and Barre Body Sculpting

  • Use light weights or small equipment to strengthen upper body
  • Includes Pilates moves done on the mat, to strengthen core, back, hips, thighs and glutes
  • This class will also move into a series of ballet bar or floor work exercises that shape and strengthen the lower body
  • The class will conclude with a series of stretching all major muscles groups
  • No ballet or dance experience necessary
  • This class is recommended for anyone with back, hip, shoulder, neck or knee problems
  • No to low impact

Yoga/Pilates/Barre Body Sculpting

This ultimate workout brings together the best of Barre, yoga and Pilates classes.

  • Includes Pilates moves done on the mat, to strengthen core, back, hips, thighs and glutes
  • This class will also move into a series of ballet bar or floor work exercises that shape and strengthen the lower body
  • You will develop upper body strength by using light weights, small equipment.  Also by doing mat work and yoga poses
  • The yoga potion will help improve balance, flexibility and overall strength
  • No dance or ballet experience required
  • This class is recommended for anyone with back, hip, shoulder, neck or knee problems
  • Low to no impact

Piloxing

Piloxing uniquely mixes Pilates and boxing into a fat torching and muscle sculpting workout guaranteed to whip you in shape.  All of this is choreographed to fun, hip music.

Barre Body Sculpting

This fun, high energy class is a unique and effective fitness class combining elements and techniques of Pilates, ballet moves, core work and toning exercises with light weights.

  • The class begins with a warm up and a sequence of upper-body exercises using light weights or small equipment
  • The class will also move into a series of ballet barre or floor exercises that focus on the lower body
  • Includes a series of core work using the mat.  This may include plank work, push-ups, Pilates stomach series, abdominal and back work
  • The class will wrap up with a stretching series
  • The Barre Method class was voted the best new workout by Chicago Magazine, and has also been featured in People and Living Well.  It’s known as one of LA’s prime celebrity workouts.
  • No ballet or dance experience necessary
  • Please bring a yoga mat and a set of 3-5 pound weights for classes at Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates
