Bonnie Grember Bio

After 18 years in the airline industry, I was faced with an unexpected challenge of pursuing a different career path. I decided to follow my passion for health and fitness and find a way to do what I love for a living, while helping to inspire others.

Having spent most of my youth faced with physical challenges, I always tried to focus on what my body could do instead of what it could not. Staying active not only helped me to keep a positive attitude but also enabled me to remain as pain free as possible. My experience sparked my interest in fitness, as well as a desire to help people adapt workouts to meet their specific needs and challenges. One of my long time role models in the fitness industry, Leslie Sansone, created a workout that was fun, effective and most importantly, anyone could do the program despite their personal limitations or level of fitness. I was thrilled to be certified by Leslie to teach her indoor walking program and take the best of what everyone loves about her videos and combine it with the fun, supportive atmosphere of a live class.

Aside from my classes, I work in marketing and promotions for a sports beverage company, which allows many opportunities for me to work with some of the cities leading fitness professionals, athletes and sports teams. As a former Flight Attendant, I have had the amazing opportunity to travel the world and found the best way to explore a new city was to lace up my running shoes and GO! The constant challenge of trying to stay fit while on the road, sparked my passion for teaching people how to fit exercise into their busy lives, with minimal time, space and equipment.

I have been a city dweller in Chicago for over 20 years and never get tired of the beautiful lakefront, Chicago skyline and of course the food!! I enjoy training and participating in races, traveling, reading, doing volunteer work, spending time with friends and family and going for walks with my 75lb. Airedale Terrier, Gryffin. (Well he sort of walks me!)

Certifications include: Leslie Sansone Certified Walk Leader, RRCA Certified Running Coach, DePaul University Certification Program in Personal Fitness Training, American Heart Association First Aid, CPR and AED Certification.
